Made-to-measure curtains in Singapore cost roughly $45 to $140 per metre of track width, installed, depending on the fabric and whether you want one layer or two. A typical 2.5m bedroom window with blackout curtains comes to about $190 to $250, and a whole 4-room HDB flat of dim-out night curtains starts from about $580 as a package.
The final price depends on five things: the fabric, the width of the window, the height, the heading (how the curtain folds) and the track. This guide breaks each one down with our own prices and what other Singapore shops publish, so you can check any quote you get.
Curtain prices per metre
Most Singapore curtain shops price curtains by the metre of window or track width. That figure already includes the extra fabric needed for the folds, sewing and usually installation. Our prices, up to 260cm high:

A per-metre fabric price looks cheaper than a per-metre window price, because the fabric for one metre of window is usually two to two and a half metres of fabric, before sewing, track and installation. Always ask for a quote for your actual windows.

What changes the price
Fabric and lining. Sheers are cheapest, blackout costs more, and day and night curtains are two curtains on a double track. Linen, velvet and thick textured fabrics cost more than polyester. Our fabrics guide compares them.
Width. Curtains are priced by track width, so a 4m living room window costs about four times a 1m kitchen window.
Height. Standard prices cover about 2.6m. Floor-to-ceiling condo windows and double-volume spaces use more fabric. The curtain length guide explains how the drop is measured.
Heading. Ripple fold (S-fold) needs a special track and gliders, so it often costs more than pinch pleat or eyelet. See S-fold vs pleated curtains.
Track. A new aluminium track adds about $13 to $20 per metre for a single track and $26 to $40 for a double track in our pricing. Reusing a good existing track saves this.
Motorisation. A curtain motor and remote adds about $290 to $450 per window. See motorised curtains.
Extras. Removing old curtains, curtain boxes, tiebacks and high-ceiling work can add to the bill. Ask for them to be listed.
Ready-made vs made-to-measure prices
Ready-made curtains from IKEA, Nitori or Spotlight cost less per panel, often tens of dollars, but come in fixed sizes. In Singapore flats they are often too short, too narrow or both, and you install them yourself. Made-to-measure costs more but fits the window and includes installation. How to compare curtain quotes
- Check the unit. Per metre of fabric, per metre of window, per panel and per package are not comparable.
- Check what is included. Track, hooks, lining, installation, removal of old curtains and GST.
- Check the height limit. Many prices assume about 2.6m; taller windows cost more.
- Check the heading. Ripple fold and pinch pleat use different amounts of fabric.
- Get measured after renovation. Quotes from rough sizes change once the windows are measured properly.
