Curtain headings
The heading decides how a curtain folds, which track or rod it needs and how much room it takes when open.
Ripple foldRipple fold curtains, also sold as S-fold or wave curtains, hang in a smooth, even wave from end to end and stack slim when open.
EyeletEyelet curtains have metal rings punched through the top of the fabric, and a rod passes straight through them, giving deep, soft folds that slide easily.
Pinch pleatPinch pleat curtains have fabric gathered into sewn pleats at regular intervals along the top, with flat sections between them.
Pencil pleatPencil pleat curtains have a gathered heading made by pulling cords in a tape sewn along the top, creating tight, narrow folds that look like a row of pencils.
Tab topTab top curtains hang from fabric loops sewn along the top, which slip directly over a curtain rod.
