Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data. Last updated 12 October 2026.
This policy explains how curtains.sg ("we", "us") handles personal data, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
What we collect
- Enquiries and quote requests: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, the service you are interested in and any details you add, such as rooms or window sizes.
- Guide downloads: your name, email address and phone number.
- Offers and the reward wheel: your email address, your first name if you give it, and the reward you won.
- WhatsApp messages you send us, including the page you contacted us from.
- Website usage: pages visited, clicks and device information, collected through cookies and similar tools (see below).
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a measuring visit, prepare a quotation and carry out your order.
- To send the guide or reward you asked for.
- If you agreed to it, to send occasional emails about curtains, blinds and offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal data.
Service providers
We use these providers to run the website and our communications. They process data on our behalf:
- Google (Analytics, and Google Sheets for enquiry records)
- Microsoft Clarity (website usage analytics)
- n8n (form handling and automation)
- OptiMonk (website pop-ups and the reward wheel)
- Sender (email delivery)
- Vercel (website hosting)
- WhatsApp (messaging)
Some of these providers store data outside Singapore. Where they do, we rely on their contractual and security commitments to protect it to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and to decide when to show pop-ups (OptiMonk). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and order records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet legal and accounting requirements. Email subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct your personal data, or withdraw your consent to being contacted, at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, send us a message through the contact page, email hello@curtains.sg, or WhatsApp +65 9071 3976. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot complete an enquiry that is in progress.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
