Curtain or blind finder

Four quick questions about one window. You get a recommendation, the reasons, and a price range.

Question 1 of 4
Which room is this window in?

How the finder decides

It weighs the room first, because kitchens, bathrooms and balconies need materials that cope with heat, steam or weather. Then it looks at what you need most and the window itself: wide windows suit curtains, small and recessed windows suit blinds. Window direction decides how much glare and heat control matters. It is a starting point; at the measuring visit we bring samples of the suggested options to hold against your window.

Common questions

Should I get curtains or blinds?

Curtains suit large windows, living rooms and bedrooms where you want softness and the best darkness. Blinds suit kitchens, bathrooms, studies and windows beside beds or desks, where fabric would get in the way.

What is best for a west-facing room in Singapore?

West-facing rooms get strong afternoon sun. A sheer or sunscreen roller blind cuts glare while keeping the view, and a dim-out or blackout layer stops the heat and light in the late afternoon.

Which blinds are easiest to clean?

Aluminium venetian and PVC roller blinds wipe down easily, which suits kitchens and service yards. Fabric Roman and Korean combi blinds need gentler care.

Can I have both curtains and blinds on one window?

Yes. A blind inside the recess with a curtain in front is a common way to get both privacy in the day and full darkness at night.
