Best Curtain Cleaning Services in Singapore (2026)

Curtains in a Singapore flat collect dust from the corridor, cooking smells from the kitchen and, after a wet season, the odd mould spot near the window. Many households clean them every six months to a year, often before Chinese New Year, after renovation, or when moving in or out. Booking a cleaner looks simple until you compare quotes: one charges per piece, another per kilogram, a third per panel with a minimum order, and only some will take the curtains down and hang them back up.

This list compares ten curtain cleaning services in Singapore on the four things that change your bill and your weekend: the cleaning method, whether they take down and rehang, whether they collect, and how they price. We publish curtains.sg, so we are listed first. Every other entry uses only what that company publishes on its own website, checked on 18 October 2026. Prices change, so confirm them before booking.

How we compared curtain cleaning services

  1. We started with the companies that appear on page 1 of Google for “curtain cleaning singapore” and the services named in other Singapore curtain cleaning lists.
  2. We kept services with a dedicated curtain cleaning page and left out general laundries that only mention curtains in passing.
  3. For each service we noted the method, take-down and rehang, collection, the lowest published curtain price with its unit, and any minimum order.
  4. Where a site gives two different figures, we quote the one on its price table and say so.

1. curtains.sg

This is us. We supply and install curtains and blinds, so cleaning is done by people who also fit tracks, hooks and linings. We offer three methods: on-site steam cleaning with the curtains left on the track, dry cleaning, and washing for fabrics that allow it. For dry cleaning and washing we take the curtains down and rehang them on the right hooks afterwards. If a hook, glider or track is broken, we can look at it on the same visit rather than sending you to a second company.

We do not price by kilogram. Send photos of each window and the care label on WhatsApp and we will suggest the method that suits the fabric and quote for it. If the curtains are past saving, we can measure for replacements; see our packages and instant estimate. WhatsApp +65 9071 3976.

Prices are the lowest curtain figures each company published on 18 October 2026. Per-piece, per-panel and per-kg prices are not directly comparable, so ask each company to quote for the same windows.

Steam cleaning or dry cleaning?

On-site steam cleaning suits a regular freshen-up. The curtains stay on the track, the job takes an afternoon and there is no gap without curtains. It lifts dust and smells, but it will not shift set-in stains or heavy grime.

Dry cleaning suits lined, blackout and heavier curtains, and any fabric whose care label rules out water. The curtains come down for a few days, so ask whether the company lends temporary curtains or works quickly.

Washing suits many sheers and polyester day curtains. It is often the cheapest per kilogram, but check the care label first, because some fabrics and linings shrink.

How to compare curtain cleaning quotes

Count your pieces the way they count them. A “piece” or “panel” can mean one curtain up to a set width. Some services count a wide curtain as two pieces. Measure the width of each curtain laid flat before you ask for quotes.

Check what per-kg pricing means for you. A pair of lined blackout curtains can weigh several kilograms, while sheers weigh very little. Per-kg pricing tends to suit light sheers; per-piece pricing tends to suit heavy lined curtains.

Ask who takes them down and puts them back. Rehanging is where hooks get missed and pleats end up uneven. If it is not included, budget for it or plan to do it yourself.

Watch the minimum order. Minimums of $70 to $150 are common. If you only have two or three windows, an on-site steam service or a per-kg laundry may cost less.

Mention damage before they start. Point out torn linings, rust marks from old hooks and sun-rotted fabric. Old curtains can fall apart in a wash. If they are past it, replacement may cost less than cleaning plus repairs; our made-to-measure curtains page explains how that works.

Common questions

How much does curtain cleaning cost in Singapore?

Published prices on 18 October 2026 started from about $10 to $15 per kg for off-site laundry, about $13 to $25 per piece for dry cleaning a day curtain, and $25 to $55 per piece or panel for on-site steaming. Most services add a minimum order of $70 to $150, and some charge extra to take curtains down and rehang them.

How often should curtains be cleaned in Singapore?

Every six to twelve months suits most homes. Curtains near the kitchen, on a busy road or in a room with pets may need it more often. Vacuuming them with a brush attachment every few weeks helps between cleans.

Is steam cleaning or dry cleaning better for curtains?

Steam cleaning on site is quicker and suits regular freshening. Dry cleaning goes deeper and suits lined, blackout and delicate curtains. Many services offer both and will suggest one after seeing your curtains.

Can I wash curtains at home instead?

Many sheers and polyester curtains can be machine washed on a gentle cycle and hung back up damp. Lined, blackout and pinch-pleated curtains are harder to wash at home without shrinking or puckering. Check the care label first.

Does curtains.sg clean curtains it did not make?

Yes. We clean curtains from any supplier, and we can check hooks and tracks or measure for replacements on the same visit. Send us photos to get started.
