Why HDB homes use folding doors
HDB toilets are compact, and a swing door eats space inside or blocks the corridor outside. A folding door stacks into a narrow bundle at the side of the frame, so the full doorway is usable and nothing swings into the basin or the bed.
PVC panels do not swell or rot in the damp the way timber can, and they wipe clean, which suits a toilet and kitchen where steam, splashes and cooking oil are daily.

Panels come in plain colours and woodgrain looks. Some designs include frosted or clear inserts that let light through, useful for a windowless kitchen. Measuring the frame
Send a photo of the doorway with the width and height measured inside the frame, at the top, middle and bottom, since older frames are rarely square. Note any step, tiles or a water stopper at the floor. We quote from the photos and sizes, then confirm at a measuring visit. The track is fixed to the top of the frame, and the door hangs from it, so the floor stays clear.
