About Ghim Moh Ascent
Curtains and blinds at Ghim Moh Ascent
Ghim Moh Ascent has two 40-storey blocks and two lower blocks beside the Rail Corridor near Buona Vista. Lower floors look onto the green corridor and neighbouring blocks, where privacy layers help in the evening; higher floors need glare control. Plan sheers with a dim-out or blackout curtain on a double ceiling track for living rooms.
Ghim Moh Ascent has two 40-storey blocks and two lower blocks of 8 to 31 storeys, bounded by Ghim Moh Road, Ghim Moh Close and the Rail Corridor, near Buona Vista MRT. Stacked Homes said several stacks have a prized view over landed homes and greenery, some of which take morning sun from the east, while stacks 139, 141, 153 and 155 face south-west and get direct sun towards the year end. South-facing stacks may also see future construction on the plot opposite.

A tip for Queenstown owners
Ghim Moh Ascent was estimated for 1Q 2028 after a wait of about 60 months, and the plot opposite south-facing stacks may still be under construction then, so plan easy-wash sheers for those rooms.

Common questions
Does the Rail Corridor beside Ghim Moh Ascent affect curtain choice?
The Rail Corridor is now a recreational path for walking and cycling, so it brings greenery rather than train noise. Lower-floor units facing it may see people passing on the trail, so sheers or Korean combi blinds give daytime privacy, with a dim-out curtain for evenings.
When is Ghim Moh Ascent expected to be completed?
HDB's estimate at launch was 1Q 2028. Completion can vary by block, so check your HDB account or the key collection letter for your block's date.
When should I measure for curtains at Ghim Moh Ascent?
After you collect your keys, so we measure the actual window openings. If you plan ceiling tracks, curtain boxes or motorised blinds, decide them earlier with your contractor so the ceiling and power points are ready.
What curtains suit a 4-room flat at Ghim Moh Ascent?
Most owners choose a day and night set in the living room, blackout curtains or blinds in bedrooms, and a roller or venetian blind for the kitchen or service yard. The right mix depends on which way your windows face.
