About Kent Heights
Curtains and blinds at Kent Heights
Kent Heights sits on Owen Road in the city fringe, close to Farrer Park MRT, with neighbouring blocks and shophouses nearby. Most homes will be 2-room Flexi or 4-room flats, so space is tight around beds and sofas. Ceiling-mounted tracks and blinds that sit inside the window frame keep walkways clear, and dim-out or blackout fabric helps with street lighting at night in a busy central area.
Kent Heights is a single 32-storey block on Owen Road with an 8-storey car park, right across from Pek Kio Market & Food Centre. Stacked Homes listed CTE road noise as a drawback and suggested choosing level 13 or above to clear Blocks 51 and 52 next door. Below that height, windows look across at neighbouring flats, so privacy is as much of a concern as light.

A tip for Kallang/Whampoa owners
With all 430 flats in one tower and a launch estimate of 4Q 2026, many Kent Heights owners will renovate in the same few months, so fix your carpentry and painting dates first and slot curtain installation in after them.

Common questions
Will curtains help with CTE noise at Kent Heights?
A little, but they will not silence it. A heavy blackout or lined dim-out curtain, closed at night, absorbs some higher-pitched traffic sound and blocks headlight glare. Most noise still comes through the glass, so on the expressway side the bigger gain comes from closing the windows at bedtime.
When is Kent Heights expected to be completed?
HDB's estimate at launch was 4Q 2026. Completion can vary by block, so check your HDB account or the key collection letter for your block's date.
When should I measure for curtains at Kent Heights?
After you collect your keys, so we measure the actual window openings. If you plan ceiling tracks, curtain boxes or motorised blinds, decide them earlier with your contractor so the ceiling and power points are ready.
What curtains suit a 4-room flat at Kent Heights?
Most owners choose a day and night set in the living room, blackout curtains or blinds in bedrooms, and a roller or venetian blind for the kitchen or service yard. The right mix depends on which way your windows face.
Do you install curtains and blinds in new BTO flats?
Yes. We supply and install made-to-measure curtains and all types of blinds in HDB flats across Singapore, including new BTO projects. WhatsApp +65 9071 3976 or use the contact page to book a measuring visit.
